Brooks Koepka (Nike)
Nike is absolutely killing it this season with their custom player edition kicks! These might’ve been my favorite. The ‘Bo Knows’ campaign was the best marketing campaign Nike ever thought up. These two guys look like they could both do some damage on the gridiron. Beasts!
Ryan Moore (TRUE Linkswear & Lululemon)
I do not know Ryan Moore but based on what he wears I can tell you that this is a dude who wants comfort. The TRUE TL-01 is the lightest golf shoe I have worn to date. Super comfy. I reviewed six pairs of 5-Pocket pants back in December and called the Lululemon ABC Pant the most comfortable that I wore. Ryan is my kind of guy!
Brandt Snedeker (Peter Millar) & Billy Horschel (Ralph Lauren)
Billy Horschel told me that Brandt Snedeker (with his broad shoulders) is one of the best dressed guys on Tour. I know loyal reader, Jim, agrees. My question is who had the best braided belt between Billy-Ho and Brandt?
Kevin Kisner (Dunning & House of Fleming)
Speaking of hot belts, nothing is finer than a House of Fleming exotic skin belt. Kevin Kisner wore some beauts over the weekend. Wow! A custom leather belt is an investment, but one that I think is well worth it.
Phil Mickelson
Phil’s belt on its own is great. However, it looked horrible with the outfit. For the record, this is from Saturday so it had nothing to do with his hotel fire. That was a crazy story, eh? Thankfully he and all involved were fine.
Rory McIlroy (Nike)
I love the Nike Breathe Vapor Polo. The tonal floral print is beautiful and this shirt breathes as well as any I’ve worn this summer. It is curious to me that Rory seems to have moved away from his signature shoe and into the Roshe G Tour.
Max Homa & Patrick Cantlay (TravisMathew)
Max Homa and Patrick Cantlay both looked awesome in their tropical-inspired TravisMathew polo shirts.
Justin Rose (Bonobos)
Burgundy is such a great color as we head into Fall. I hate that I just wrote that sentence….I love this outfit, however. The Bonobos M-Flex Moody Floral Polo paired with the Burgundy Highland Tour Golf Pants are a winning combination.
I really like how Billyho added that belt but nothing looks better than the kaleidoscope belt Brandt is wearing. it goes with everything, spices up a solid on solid kit and really catchs your eye. I am buying one.
A few things this week, Rory looks great in his Nike gear but I think the brooks shoes are seriously ugly. Phil always gets it wrong one way or another and Cantlay could do with wearing something different as regards the boring black trousers & shoes , he’s got the custom footjoy crew at his disposal for petes sake!, Thanks for the weekly report & one last thing, Max Honma is a great advert for golf, cheerio.
