I admit that there are definitely some perks to being a golf fashion blogger. The biggest is the spring wardrobe refresh I receive every year from my friends at johnnie-O. This year’s care package was extra special! As johnnie-O celebrates its twentieth anniversary in 2025, it continues to roll out fabulous gear that is fun, fresh, and fitting for both the fairway and birthday festivities. The April Major Collection is exactly what I needed to put some spring in my step leading up to the best week in golf. Here are some outfit inspirations for your viewing pleasure regardless of where you’ll be on April 10 – 13.
Non-Patrons
Let’s face it, since most of us don’t get the luxury of being patrons on the hallowed grounds of Augusta National we can casually sip our Azalea Cocktail in a comfy pocket tee adorned with the signature johnnie-O surfer logo. My favorite tee in this release is the aptly named “Azalea Cocktail.” And if anyone asks you what you’re drinking while watching coverage of The Masters, just turn your back to them. It’s not being rude. Really!
Since free-and-easy is our style of choice for those of us watching on television, might I suggest pairing your soft cotton blend tee with the new j-O Fusionn Stretch-Knit Pull-On Short. For those of you lucky enough to be on the grounds of Augusta National or maybe you just need to be dressed and ready to go out for dinner when play concludes for the day.
