Jason Dufner to Sport Vineyard Vines’ Signature Pink Whale

If you catch Jason Dufner doing any ‘Dufnering’ in 2015, he’ll likely be doing it in a preppy polo with the Vineyard Vines smiling pink whale logo on the left sleeve. The New England-based brand announced today that it inked a clothing deal with the 2013 PGA Champion that will see him outfitted in the brand’s new, expanded golf collection, which includes classic-looking polos, 1/4 zips, cashmere v-necks, and performance merino layering pieces.

“I’m thrilled to be working with Vineyard Vines. Shep & Ian Murray (CEOs and co-founders of vineyard vines) have built an empire dressing people for the Good Life. I love what they stand for and I’m excited to bring the brand to the PGA Tour and golf fans in a big way.” — Jason Dufner

Dufner, who has not been shy about sporting some eye-catching belts over the last few years, will likely rock a variety of high-end suede and exotic skin leather straps from Vineyard Vines. In addition, Dufner will be wearing the brand’s recently launched performance jersey and oxford pique polos along with the soon-to-be-launched comfort links pants and mid-calf performance socks.

“This is the first time in the history of our brand that we’ve worked with this type of partner, someone who embodies and can represent the Vineyard Vines lifestyle. Jason and his wife, Amanda, are aligned with so many of our core values most importantly having fun and giving back,” said Shep Murray, vineyard vines CEO and co-founder.

Jason Dufner will debut his Vineyard Vines threads on the PGA Tour at the Humana Challenge in La Quinta, CA, January 22 – 25. Vineyard Vines expanded golf collection, including the performance pieces, will be available for sale beginning in Fall 2015.
