Sharp Dressed Men

They come runnin’ just as fast as they can

‘Cause every girl’s crazy ’bout a sharp-dressed man.

Josh Allen and Larry Fitzgerald know a thing or two about avoiding linebackers and defensive backs “runnin’ just as fast as they can.” This is a trio of sharp-dressed men. (Can you imagine Allen throwing to Fitzgerald in his prime? Wow!)

Mookie Betts

As a diehard Boston Red Sox fan I lament seeing Mookie Betts in a LA Dodgers uniform. However, I delight in catching sight of Mookie wearing the Eastside Golf “Inspire” Sweatshirt and the Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” (which are rumored to drop on February 25).

Is there anything that Mookie can’t do? 2X World Series Champion, 2018 AL MVP, professional tenpin bowler for PBA (he even bowled a perfect game in the World Series of Bowling in 2017). And now he has mastered the two-hop-and-stop pitch shot?! He looked great practicing this shot in the Zero Restriction Holyfield Hooded-Vest.

Brian Gay (G/FORE)

Lookin’ sharp, lookin’ for love.

Brian Gay is lookin’ sharp and lookin’ for more GolfThreads love. The G/FORE tuxedo striped olive trousers with the Twilight Hooded Lux Mid and Skull & T’s Logo Debossed Belt are a killer combo.

Jordan Spieth (Under Armour)

Last week we shared photos of the new Under Armour Tour SL Golf Shoes. I wondered if Jordan Spieth might lace these up as his go-to kicks but that doesn’t seem to be the case (yet).

In the end, it might have worked in Jordan’s favor to stick with his tried and true spiked version of the Spieth 5 on Saturday. He needed all the traction he could get on this “nerve-wracking” approach shot at the eighth hole.

Clean shirt, new shoes

And I don’t know where I am goin’ to.

ZZ Top (Sharp Dressed Man)

Keeping with new kicks…..I know where I am goin’ to get my “new shoes.” Between the TOUR360 22 kicks and these new REBELCROSS (built on the YEEZY last) that were announced on Monday (available 2/14), Adidas Golf has you covered! Plus, there are some more great ones coming soon. Stay tuned….

Joaquin Niemann (Adidas Golf)

Also spied in Saudi Arabia was this new shirt from Adidas. Niemann’s Abstract Print Polo is from the SS22 line and will be available soon. It comes in three colorways but I am guessing that Joaco’s “Almost Pink/Semi Turbo” will be the most popular. I would buy it for the color name alone!!

Satoshi Kodaira (Admiral & FootJoy)

Satoshi always seems to be ahead of the fashion curve. The texture on his crewneck sweater and more generous cut slacks create a clean and timeless look that is also fresh and on-point.

Kevin Chappell (G/FORE)

Kevin Chappell’s switch to G/FORE might be my favorite Hot Stove move to date!

Matthew Fitzpatrick (Lululemon & Skechers)

In other Hot Stove news; Matthew Fitzpatrick is apparently now wearing Lululemon and Skechers. Wait….Lululemon and Skechers?! They go together about as well as mustard and marshmallows!

Lanto Griffin (Galvin Green & FootJoy)

Galvin Green’s Damian full-zip sweater is sharp! And warm. And breathable. And how about those custom MyJoys? They bring the entire kit to the next level.

Ryan Moore (True Linkswear)

The latest collaboration between TRUE and Linksoul has created the best iteration of the Knit II yet. A reader recently asked us if Ryan Moore has the most underrated style on tour. I would say he is in the discussion. In fact, that is a great idea for a future article…..
