Kicks with kilties make us happy, Higgo is on-trend in Macade’s sporty threads, new ink for Trahan, and more. Tour Editor Michael Ruuska recaps the fairway fashions from The Travelers Championship and Rocket Mortgage Classic is this extra buttery edition of This These Two Week(s) In Golf Fashion.
Garrick Higgo (Macade Golf & FootJoy)
Garrick Higgo rocked the Macade Golf Four-Way Stretch Jogger and the Club Camo Polo for a winning look. These joggers feature a zipper on the cuffed ankle which further blurred the lines between golf apparel and athleisure. Bookending this look with a Titleist rope hat and FootJoy Packard Premiere shoes pulled it all together.
Lanto Griffin (Galvin Green & FootJoy)
Bam! Lanto Griffin letting the FootJoy Custom Tarlows take center stage for this kit. As they should…..
Joaquin Niemann (adidas Golf)
Keeping with kicks that kicked-ass, how about these Extra Butter x adidas Golf x Happy Gilmore ZG Chubbs shoes, eh? The kilties are removable but why on earth would you ever consider doing that?
D.J. Trahan (Turtleson & FootJoy)
Do I spy a new tat on Tour? It appears to be a feather. Regardless it looks cool against the Turtleson Hale Stripe Performance Polo.
Phil Mickelson (Cuater)
I love argyle socks. I love that Phil wore argyle socks with the Cuater Legend golf shoes. That is legendary style right there from a golf legend.
Si Woo Kim (PGA Tour Golfwear)
“I must say,” “let’s face it” the PGA Tour Golfwear is “totally decent.” I am quite certain that is the first time Ed Grimley’s catchphrases have ever been used to describe golf apparel! It’s true, Si Woo is looking good.
Joel Dahmen (TravisMathew & True Linkswear)
The True Lux Pro is such a great shoe. I am super stoked about the True Linkswear Limited Edition Pebble Collection (it’s shipping now). However, my favorite collection is the #endcancer collection. A collaboration between Imperial, Joel Dahmen, and the MD Anderson Cancer Center. Buy a hat for yourself or someone you love and help the cause. This is good people doing good things.
Rickie Fowler (Puma Golf)
This just made me smile. It was nice to see Rickie back out there on a Sunday wearing his signature orange.
Marc Leishman (Kjus)
We had a pretty intense heatwave across the country last week. I decided to test out the Kjus Savin Polo on the course. This is one breathable shirt! The open mesh-structure has a cooling effect. Even on a 100-degree day!

Phil looked really sharp in Detriot. Typically his pants are huge and he stays mono. I liked his mint green shirt and his white/gray combo above was an awesome summer look.
I need those Adidas.
What brand golf shoes was Bubba Watson wearing in Detroit
Bubba wears Jordan Brand. Specifically, I think you are referring to the 35’s he wore.
