If you are looking for a fun golf shirt to wear, look no further than William Murray Golf. I am excited about their upcoming Fall 2020 Collection, particularly this In Bloom Polo that Jason Kokrak wore on Friday. In typical William Murray fashion, it has a flair all its own, with hidden pin flags and “The Murray’s” stashed in the floral design.

Adam Scott (UNIQLO & FootJoy)

I love the gradient design of this UNIQLO Dry-Ex Polo. Blue is a great color for Adam Scott, too. And how about that belt? The subtle stripe down the center of this web belt is a nice touch. Adam appears to be on board with the new FootJoy Premiere prototypes that Max Homa and Ian Poulter have been wearing. No doubt that these will be the “it” shoes once they are released.

The Liberty Golf Polo is my favorite shirt from the Puma Volition America Collection. I am remiss for not mentioning this earlier but if you are looking for a lightweight, low-profile summer belt to pair with shorts, the Ultralite Stretch Golf Belt is an affordable option that deserves serious consideration. It comes in ten colors, to boot!

Abraham Ancer (Black Quail & FootJoy)

Methinks it is about time we start giving Abraham Ancer and Black Quail some more attention here at the GolfThreads headquarters. I am especially smitten by the Agua Fria Starlight Ghost polo and Azul Performance Trousers.

Robby Shelton (Fairway & Greene)

That’s a waterski print on Robby Shelton’s Fairway & Greene jersey polo. Pairs well with those slick Maui Jim Cut Mountain shades, don’t you think? I can’t wear sunglasses when I golf. Maybe I just need to find the right pair…

Thursday. Friday. Saturday. Oh, my! Classically, nautically, preppy.

Lanto Griffin (Galvin Green & FootJoy)

Lanto Griffin’s Galvin Green Mason Polo has me seeing starry nights ahead.

Viktor Hovland (J.Lindeberg)

J.Lindeberg’s AW20 Collection is ridiculous. This Joseph Jacquard polo is just a teaser of the righteous stuff they have in store for us this season. Why does Viktor Hovland look so awkward in JL?

Tiger Woods (Nike Golf)

Even the G.O.A.T. misses a belt loop every once in a while.

Dustin Johnson & Jon Rahm (Adidas Golf)

What. A. Finish. Wow. I have always thought that Jon Rahm looks best in a five-pocket trouser, whereas DJ looks better in a traditional flat-front pant. Remember, dress for your physique.

Peace.

  1. Can we please get Victor into different footwear? Not saying it’s the full issue with his look, but something less athletic I think would go a long way.
