This week, the PGA Tour rolls through 17 Mile Drive and ends on the majestic shores of Pebble Beach Golf Links for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. We can expect plenty of picturesque shots of Carmel Bay, cool and breezy conditions, and a fair amount of celebrity sightings. If you are taking in the tournament in person, another attraction to check out is the new Jim Nantz by Vineyard Vines concept store. The shop just opened days ago and is located only a few steps from Pebble Beach’s famous putting green and directly across from the resort’s iconic Lodge.

Nantz and Vineyard Vines first struck up a relationship in 2017 when the Stamford, Connecticut-based lifestyle brand began to sell the Forget Me Not Collection that benefited the Nantz National Alzheimer Center. The shop at Pebble Beach is the latest collaboration between the renowned sports commentator and the brand with the smiling pink whale logo. The 640-sq. ft. unit is more than a place to pick up a stylish polo or pullover, though. Nantz, a longtime resident of Pebble Beach, added some personal touches to create a unique shopping experience. In the store, visitors will find a replica CBS Sports desk and a looping video about Pebble Beach Golf Links narrated by none other than Nantz, himself.

Of course, the shop will be well-stocked with the latest pieces from the Jim Nantz by Vineyard Vines Collection. The assortment of polos, ½ zips, vests, sweaters, cardigans, and jackets are as classic as Nantz’s “Hello, friends” greeting. Thanks to the mix of luxurious performance fabrics and sophisticated details, these looks can effortlessly move from the course to dinner without missing a beat. In creating the collection with Vineyard Vines, Nantz drew inspiration from the surrounding area. Pieces like the Pescadero ½-zip, Ocean Avenue v-neck, and Carmel polos create a unique connection to the region. Others like the Palmer cardigan are a tribute to the great Arnold Palmer.
The shop at Pebble Beach is the latest example of Vineyard Vines’ explosive expansion on the west coast and its strategic initiatives around the game of golf. Over the past few years, the brand has established a strong presence on the fairways with rising PGA Tour stars, such as J.T. Poston and Russell Knox.
If you are unable to hit the Jim Nantz by Vineyard Vines Shop at Pebble Beach, you can still check out the collection on the Vineyard Vines’ website or at a store near you.
