As you may recall, the GolfThreads crew reported from this past January’s PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando where we got sneak peeks of Fall ’19 golf fashion. After months of anticipation, we are finally seeing some of our faves land in pro shops and online.
Here’s a look at some of those items.

J.Lindeberg
We called it engineered Intarsia at the show – a knitting technique used to create patterns with multiple colors – but now the cool looking fabric is named the Cole TX jacquard polo for men in four colors, and Lilly TX in two colors for women. Pictures don’t do justice to the slight shimmer effect in the double-wide stripes. The fit is slim and fabric moisture-wicking with 4-way stretch. There are additional styles of the TX as well. Find at jlindebergusa.com.
G/FORE
G/FORE had us swooning over its pine and cabernet colors. While several pieces are sporting these fall-ish colors, the men’s club short is available in both, plus violet and capri which is an ice blue. The technical twill short is soft, lightweight and has plenty of stretch. There’s even tonal grosgrain detail on the waistband so you can go beltless.
For women, the Color Block Trouser has contouring details for a flattering fit, on-trend 7/8 length, and contrast tuxedo stripe and back panels featuring the pine green on the back that makes them super stylish. Find at gfore.com.
Ralph Lauren
Ralph Lauren now has a ‘sweatshirt’ tab in its golf offerings that is in keeping with its tagline of ‘Current Tradition,” meaning styles that maintain the RL spirit made with modern current styling and colors. We saw this grey heather RLX Golf Tech Jersey full-zip hoodie on display at the PGA Show and knew it would be a hit both on and off the course. Its moisture-wicking, soft, stretchy fabric allows for swing comfort as well as hanging out comfort.
On the women’s side, we couldn’t forget the RLX Golf Floral Stretch Golf Skort and its eye-catching bleached flower print. It has all the performance aspects with attached interior compression shorts for coverage. The straight fit and pull-on elasticized waist combine for superior comfort. Find at ralphlauren.com.
Greyson Clothiers

We’ve been waiting impatiently for many of the fall styles from Greyson, but the men’s outerwear pieces really steal the show. The Sequoia Sport full-zip with tech inserts are both functional and very fashionable. The granddaddy Touring jacket will look as good on the slopes as on the golf course. And the Camo Gotham hoodie which is just plain cool. Find at greysonclothiers.com.
Puma Golf

Puma has some really cute long sleeve tops for women in its fall lineup, but the Cozy Neck Fleece with the feminine Audrey Hepburn collar is a stylish, updated sweatshirt that’s golf course friendly. Made from french terry with a fleece brushed back ensures softness and comfort. Find at pumagolf.com.
Stay tuned for much more leaf falling fall golf fashion as the season gears up.
The Greyson fall line perfectly fits my eye.
I looked at the Puma outerwear pullover. It was very nice and a good piece to wear here in the winter months. The collar was different and it appeared to be comfortable, especially when hitting my driver 300 yards. The blue heather color was quite striking.
