I’ve been listening to the G&E Magazine Podcast for several months. Founder Ryan Walker’s pod focuses on a niche in the golf industry—entrepreneurship. Along the way, he’s hosted many of my favorite brands and people in the world of golf. John Ashworth from Linksoul, Adrienne Cass from TrendyGolf USA, and Charlie Burgwyn from Stitch, are just a few that Ryan has featured.
Ironically, by sharing other people’s inspiring stories, Ryan has created something special in his own right. He has thousands of social media followers and his pod has garnered plenty of 5-star reviews. He’s an example of how paying it forward is always a can’t-miss strategy.

Many thanks to Ryan for asking me to be his guest for Episode 48. I was quite humbled to have the opportunity to talk about how the sausage is made at GolfThreads. We discussed the inspiration behind GolfThreads, trying to balance a side-hustle with a full-time job and family, and how we’ve grown over the years with big contributions from Janice, Michael, and Ian. You can check it out here. You’ll also find it on iTunes, Spotify, or Stitcher. I hope you’ll give it a listen as you are bumping around town or heading to the course this weekend.
