Admittedly, I do not know much about Satoshi Kodaira but I do know that in only 15 appearances on the PGA Tour he has caught my eye with his well-tailored polos, confidence, and swagger. Satoshi won for the first time on the PGA Tour (he’s won six times on the Japan Tour) and did so in style. Sunday’s polo was awesome. I love the collar, the cuffs, and the tropical feel of the print on the hard-to-find Admiral shirt. I even thought that the white belt was (gasp) a good choice. Perhaps that is because I was comparing it to the white belt worn by Si Woo Kim in the playoff.

I will give Si Woo Kim a pass for choosing a white belt with an all-black outfit because on Friday he gave me another opportunity to highlight the Peter Millar Kaleidoscope Web Belt. (This should be arriving at my door any day now).

Pink shirts and light trousers were the color story on Saturday. Although not quite the “Brat Pack” (more on that later), these three veterans embraced their inner “Molly Ringwald” and nailed the “Pretty In Pink” look. Notice how each guy wore a belt that did not get lost in their outfit but rather complemented the simplicity of the color choices. I was particularly intrigued with Billy Horschel’s slightly thinner belt (this guy is always ahead of the fashion curve) and I am certain we will see more of this in the future.

Jason Dufner continues to top his mop with the dopest lids, yo! (Sorry I just finished watching Straight Outta Compton). That Jones Birdie hat is one of my favorites (and it paired perfectly with his belt). In fact, if you haven’t checked out the headwear selection from Jones Golf do so now. Like, right now! (This article isn’t going anywhere).

I love this look from Lucas Glover. Truth be told, I always seem to be picking up what Linksoul puts down. For such a simple looking shirt, the Linksoul Dry Tech Full Button Polo really stands out on the golf course. And it performs well, too (I know from experience).

Boss is Boss

I do not own any Hugo Boss. That will change soon. The sleeves on their shirts always fit guys like Kaymer and Stenson perfectly. I want in on that action…..

#SB2K is the golf version of the Brat Pack, Rat Pack or whatever analogy you want to make. These guys are fun, talented and looking good at Smylie’s wedding rehearsal dinner!

  1. Where can I find a belt like the one that Lucas is wearing? I saw him Thursday at HHI and he looked sharp that day too. (Agree on Horschel.)

    1. Jeff, thanks for reading. Lucas Glover is wearing a 59 belt. You can get yourself one at 59belts.com

  2. Mike, great job as always. Did you notice how great all the belts are in your post? The top is Si Woo Kim’s belt of course and even Kuch has stepped out of his grandpa apparel to don a nice belt. The SB2K crew went sans belt in that pic! wow.
