I have zero scoop into what apparel and footwear brands Tiger will be wearing in the future but if I had to make a guess it would be the same apparel Ryo is wearing, TaylorMade (and FootJoy shoes). It just seems to make too much sense. BTW, how swaggy are these Oakley Sutro Lite sunglasses?!

Taylor Montgomery (TRUE Linkswear)

In other Hot Stove news, Taylor Montgomery has joined team TRUE as a head-to-toe ambassador. I love seeing so many guys on Tour wearing their stuff. TRUE’s footwear and apparel perform exceptionally well with a really cool, unassuming, low-key vibe….

Chris Kirk (TravisMathew & TRUE Linkswear)

Much like Chris Kirk, I opt for the TRUE All Day Ripstop V2 as my go-to TRUE shoe. I prefer the transitional drop and their ability to be worn anywhere.

Justin Suh (PUMA Golf)

Keeping with kicks; I cannot wait to get my hands on these new Nitro-infused PUMA golf shoes that should be released in the coming months.

Robby Shelton (Holderness & Bourne & Cuater)

Robby Shelton did the old footwear switcheroo this year and opted for The Ringer Spiked Golf Shoes by Cuater to kick off his season in Hawaii.

Keegan Bradley (Flag & Anthem & Jordan)

Native New Englander, Keegan Bradley joins my pick for NFL MVP, Christian McCaffrey, as a Flag & Anthem ambassador. I have never tried their MadeFlex Golf Collection but in checking out the website they have a TravisMathew feel to them with an emphasis on chest stripes. Can someone please tell me why Keegan continues to wear these one-off Jordans when there is a plethora of better J’s to choose from?

Grayson Murray (State & Liberty & FootJoy)

State & Liberty is another clothing brand making golf apparel that I am unfamiliar with. Competition is great but it is getting increasingly more difficult to keep up with who is wearing what these days. More importantly, looks like I need to update my Tats on Tour article.

Jake Knapp (Original Penguin & Nike Golf)

Jake Knapp joins the Original Penguin team this year. The Mighty Ducks logo always makes me irrationally happy. Makes me think of my favorite hockey player of all time, #8, the “Finnish Flash,” Teemu Selanne.

Max Greyserman (Callaway Apparel & Payntr)

Greyserman is another guy who made an apparel switch this year. Max is now rocking Callaway Apparel. He is also very aware of the harmful effects prolonged sun exposure can have on the skin. It is not uncommon to see him with sun sleeves or a base layer under his polo. I much prefer the long-sleeve polo. Much cleaner and classier.

Ben Silverman

Finishing up with the Hot Stove news from the Sony Open, it looks like Ben Silverman might be in between brands. He had been a standout in his Chervo gear the past few seasons. Now we have him in a Greyson top and Chervo trousers and belt. This got me wondering; if you were an apparel free agent, who would you want to wear? With all the rumors about Nike Golf, we may have a lot of apparel free agents this season. Now THAT will be fun!

  1. Can’t keep up with all these new brands. I agree with you about what tiger will be wearing but we will have to wait & see.

  2. Couldn’t have said it better on the KB Jordan picks. Totally baffling. Suh killin’ the Puma stuff. May have to look a little closer at it…
