Bryson’s smart polo adds up. Luke List visits the Mystic Swamp. Si Woo is wearing who? It’s the Doppelganger Edition of This Week in Golf Fashion with special guest appearances by Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake and G.I. Joe.

I have found Bryson DeChambeau’s doppelganger; former WWF wrestler, Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake. They certainly share a pumped-up physique. Bryson “The Brutus” Beefcake?

The brilliance of Bryson’s Optimized Variable Golf Polo was not lost on me. Admittedly, I have no idea what any of these equations mean, but I will trust that the math is correct. I do know that this is one smart-looking polo.

RCB looked Tiger-esque on Friday. (I miss Tiger and hope we see him soon–maybe Muirfield?!). Cabrera-Bello looks great in red and black. It is not an easy color combination to pull off.

While I am in the process of making comparisons, Chris Kirk has always reminded me of the vintage G.I. Joe doll from the 1960s.

Chris paired a simple striped polo from tasc Performance with the TRUE TL-01 for a timeless, classic look. Both of these companies are “Real American Hero’s” with their emphasis on sustainability.

Scott Harrington made a statement with his G/FORE Knit Tuxedo Gallivanter shoes. Sometimes something as simple as a contrast collar and cuffs can really make a shirt stand out.

Si Woo Kim

Truthfully, I am stumped. I am not sure what brand Si Woo Kim has been wearing since he left Peter Millar, however, whatever it is, sign me up! Drop a line if you know the brand.

Seamus Power was bringing the heat in the TravisMathew Heater Series polo. Keep an eye out in the coming weeks for an article about the best polos to wear when golfing in hot and humid conditions. Hint, this polo might be featured…..

Jonathan Byrd (Ralph Lauren Golf & FootJoy)

It is all about the belt.

Luke List (Greyson Clothiers & FootJoy)

There were so many Greyson Clothier polo shirts that caught my eye at the Detroit Golf Club. I chose to highlight the Mystic Swamp Polo. The print consists of an array of palm trees, alligators, snakes, and wolves, all in different shades of blue, that creates a captivating pattern.

  1. It is ALL about the belt. excellent catch on Byrd. Question: What is it about RCB that if he wears the same thing as others, he always looks better? fit? body type? small details? I don’t know what it is.
