Let’s face it, there is only one place to start; Phil Mickelson’s joggers! Lefty is a 50-year-old playa’ and livin’ the dream. This made the tournament for me. Thank you, Phil.

While there is always a cloud of uncertainty around Phil’s fashion choices, these joggers have a similar look to Rhone’s Commuter Jogger with the zippered cuff.

Dustin Johnson (Adidas Golf)

Speaking of playa’s, NO ONE has more swagger on the course than Dustin Johnson. And with good reason! DJ now has 13 consecutive seasons with a “W”. He also has one more career win than Greg Norman. Impressive stats for a guy who looked like $63 million this weekend. I’ve said it each week since I returned to writing TWIGF; Adidas Golf is hot. The HEAT.RDY Striped Polos DJ wore were money. The TOUR360 XT Primeknit shoes are pretty smokin’, too.

Charley Hoffman (Greg Norman Collection & FootJoy)

Charley Hoffman grew out a goatee and looked great. The Greg Norman Collection Ashfall Polo and House of Fleming belt made for a very eye-catching and classy combo.

Wesley Bryan (Rhoback & Cuater)

It is good to have Wesley Bryan back (sans Skechers and Taco Bell logo belt). The Legend shoes and Cuater belt were a much better choice. I was also diggin’ Wesley’s Rhoback polo on Saturday.

Kevin Streelman (johnnie-O & FootJoy)

There is something really cool about the johnnie-O logo. The Ponto Printed PREP-FORMANCE Pique Polo will leave you looking and feeling cool. You can even choose if you want the logo on the left chest or back-center yoke. Back-center for this guy. Kevin Streelman’s matching pink socks were a nice touch.

While we are on the topic of guys who know how to coordinate their accessories; does anyone do it better than RCB? Methinks not! Love the gingham trimmed collar on this FootJoy Lisle Polo.

Brian Gay (G/FORE)

Good to have my guy, Brian Gay, back in This Week In Golf Fashion. It is hard to see in this picture but he’s wearing the Skull & T’s Embossed Gallivanter shoes. They are my favorite in the Gallivanter lineup.

Brandt Snedeker (Peter Millar & G/FORE)

Brandt was showing off the latest shoe release from G/FORE; the MG4+. I really like this golf shoe, however, they looked out of place on Snedeker. It just didn’t pair well with the rest of his outfit. I had a hard time with the charcoal footwear and his stone trouser color combination.

Viktor Hovland (J.Lindeberg & Nike)

First of all, congratulations to Viktor Hovland for being the first Norwegian-born player to make the top 50 in the Official Golf World Ranking. He’s an impressive young player, to say the least. The JL Luca Schoeller 3xDry Pants are equally impressive.

OK, now that I’ve said something nice, I need to be honest…I struggle with Hovland in J.Lindeberg. Love JL. Love Viktor. I don’t love the pairing. He just looks awkward to me. The Nike Roshe G Tour with the contrasting swoosh does not help. It just doesn’t jive with the JL logo.

Matt Wallace (J.Lindeberg & FootJoy)

Just as a comparison, Matt Wallace looks a cut above. Notice how much better the all-white FJ DryJoys Tours look with the outfit. How about the JL Joaquin TX Jacquard Polo, eh? Phew.

Jamie Lovemark (TrendyGolf)

Those kicks! Not confirmed but I believe Jamie Lovemark is wearing a golf version of the Jordan XXXIV. I’ve spotted him wearing them on a few occasions this past year.

  1. Sneds with that belt and changed his shoes would have been a very cool look. RCB always has the best accessories and makes simple looks pop. When you are tall and lean like DJ you always look good. Ruuska – I really like how granular you got this week, lots of exceptional details you found.
