Adidas Golf CodeChaos

Adidas continues to stir things up with its CodeChaos golf shoe for men, women, and kids. While it’s not new to the market, the chaos ensues with Boa and regular lace styles, several colorways, a sport design option and the PrimeBlue model that’s made from recycled plastic. The best part, though, is you can find CodeChaos on sale, so now is a perfect time to test drive a pair.

Features include a snug, sock-like fit that hugs and supports your foot for long-lasting comfort. The Boost midsole with Torsion X fuels your step with an energized feel, and the integrated support adds stability without added weight.

Asics GEL-Course Duo Boa

If you have tuned in to Japan Golf Tour events over the years, you’ve likely seen a number of players wearing Asics shoes and wondered, “Where can I get a pair?” Here in the States, the only answers were a trip to Tokyo or a proxy service. Good news, though. Thanks to a partnership announced late last year between Asics and Srixon, golfers other than Hideki Matsuyama have the opportunity to wear Asics on the course.

The new GEL-Course Duo Boa has an athletic silhouette reminiscent of the brand’s running shoes that works well with shorts and joggers. The best feature is the Boa lacing system that allows you to dial in the perfect fit. The GEL-Course also borrows an ankle and tongue construction with padding from Asics running line. Coupled with the FlyteFoam midsole and Asics GEL technology, this shoe has the comfort to go 36 holes or more. The outsole combines molded nubs with cleats for traction in a variety of conditions.

Callaway Oceanside & Coronado

Callaway men’s Oceanside golf shoe combines a lightweight sport-fusion design with comfort and traction features, delivering style, stability and responsive cushioning.

The Oceanside features a waterproof performance mesh with a welded stability cage for maximum support. The spikeless outsole has dura-rubber multi-directional traction control lugs to hold the ground in all directions. The midsole uses the Opti-Soft EVA to create a natural and comfortable walk, and the Opti-Vent mesh liner manages heat for breathability.

For women, the Coronado is a contemporary design that utilizes the same Opti-Series technologies found in Callaway’s apparel collections. The golf shoe features a microfiber leather upper with opti-dri waterproof protection and a 3D stability cage. It also has the Opti-soft EVA midsole and the Opti-vent mesh liner with a 5mm PLUSfoam insole. The 6 spikes and dura-rubber outsole offer maximum stability and control.

Cuater The Ringer

Cuater’s entrance into the golf shoe market has been anything but quiet. The brand has busted in the pro shop door with four models for 2020. With a cleated outsole and sporty silhouette, The Ringer bridges the gap between classic good looks and modern performance. Cuater may be a newcomer to golf footwear, but this is a premium Tour-level shoe that is complete with waterproof construction, a light cushy midsole, and a breathable mesh liner.

ECCO Golf S-Three

ECCO Golf S-Three shoe is another unisex style that comes in three colorways for men and two for women. The Zonal Fluidform technology midsole creates three different zones of rigidity that are cool-y distinguished with the gradation of colors and ensures the right balance of cushioning and stability along the foot.

The S-Three also features Gore-Tex waterproofing that combines breathability with wet weather protection. The E-DTS traction system has approximately 100 TPU traction bars with 800 traction angles for excellent and dependable traction. The OrthoLite cushioned insole is removable and washable.

FootJoy Flex LE2 & FJ Leisure Slip-On

FootJoy Flex LE2 men’s shoe is ideal for working at home with its breathable mesh upper that is lightweight, comfortable and durable. There’s a cork-covered FitBed for additional cushion and a soft EVA midsole offers stability. The fashionable color choices of dark blue, olive, grey and black will go with any comfy joggers you’re sporting in the home office.

When it’s time to expect performance from the Flex LE2, you can depend on the Versa-Trax outsole that’s engineered with traction elements that offer maximum traction with each step.

There is the same style for women but we’re gravitating towards FJ Leisure Slip-on shoes that are available in five colors because, well, c’mon, they’re slip-on! Athletic looking and lightweight comfort go with any legging or track pant you wish to wear with them, yet the enhanced traction, cushioning and stability features take you right to the golf course.

Bonus: FootJoy recently launched its Shoe Finder tool on its website that helps golfers find the right shoe for your game.

G/FORE MG4.1

G/FORE has updated its MG4.1 collection for men and women with fresh colorways, including the limited edition Ombre shown here complete with skull/crossbones emblazoned on the heel. The seamless, breathable knit upper has internal and external overlays for added lateral support.

The full rubber outsole with sawtooth traction pattern is anatomically designed to provide flexibility, while the triple-density foam cushion footbed is washable and anti-microbial. There is a size conversion chart if any ladies want to snag the men’s version.

New Balance Fresh Foam LinksSL

New Balance Fresh Foam LinksSL for men and women features a lightweight, waterproof performance mesh upper, and a spikeless smart rubber outsole that has pressure mapping colors to highlight key performance zones during the swing.

The LinksSL takes technology from New Balance’s running category and delivers a high-performance golf shoe. The full-length Fresh Foam midsole is a data-driven design that identified zones in the midsole where altering levels of compression and resistance are aligned to provide ultra-soft cushioning and lateral stability.

Nike Roshe G Tour

Watching the evolution of the Nike Roshe has been interesting over the past few years. Nike originally launched the Roshe as an inexpensive running shoe in 2012. Most hardcore runners found it to be a bit flimsy. A few years later, a 2.0 version gained popularity in the streetwear scene before landing on the fairways in 2018.

The first golf-specific versions of the Roshe were heavy on fashion and light on function. Fast forward to 2020, and the Roshe G Tour is a serious performance shoe. It is being laced up by the likes of Rory McIlroy and Paul Casey. The minimalist design and Zen-like aesthetic allow the Roshe G Tour to work with just about everything in your golf wardrobe. The latest iteration is equipped with a waterproof upper and an aggressive outsole with removable cleats.

Puma Golf IGNITE NXT & Laguna Fusion Sport

Puma offers the latest men’s Ignite NXT spikeless golf shoe which stands for the next level. It comes in four configurations – lace, solace, disc, and pro – and 14 colorways to choose from between them all. Also currently marked down in price, the time to act is now to make sure you get your favorite color in your size.

Built from the ground up with Pro-Form TPU, the outsole has an organically-altered traction pattern, and there is a full-length foam midsole wrapped in SoleShield for added durability. The upper features a microfiber vamp with PWRFRAME reinforcement, and decoupled PWRADDLE pieces provide a secure fit.

On the women’s side, the Laguna Fusion Sport golf shoe, offered in grey, black, white and rose colors, has a performance mesh upper that gives it an athletic style, and a fusion foam midsole offers all-day comfort. There is a crystal-carbon rubber outsole with strategically placed traction lugs that grip throughout the swing, and large fusion foam windows in the heel and forefoot deliver ground feel and forgiving cushioning.

Royal Albartross Strider & Chelsea

Royal Albartross has the all-new Strider hybrid shoe for men that’s available now for pre-ordering. As manufacturing has been affected worldwide, we might have to be a little patient for its arrival, but trust us, it’ll be worth it.

The modern sneaker-styling means you’ll want to wear it everywhere. Hop online to see the colorways – storm, monochrome and the very eclectic Miami – all feature a combination of Italian leather and suede uppers with anti-bacterial treated canvas. The lining is made from soft, natural leather with an additional heel cup for added support. The air cushion sole with multi-directional traction is top of the line
