Some animals experience a state of minimal activity and metabolic depression during the cold dark winter months. This is commonly known as “hibernation” and is characterized by a slow heart rate and low body temperature. Given that my life circumstances don’t allow me to migrate to a warmer climate during the winter, I experience a “golf hibernation.” This disorder can be identified by irritability, decreased activity, feeling antsy, and being downright frigid!
Alas, like a tranquil oasis, golf beckons as we exit the calendar’s shortest month. My mood and energy rebound just at the thought of being back on the course. However, navigating early spring golf in many parts of the country can be a chilling experience. Literally. The red johnnie-O logo on the sleeve was a nice touch. Layer over a polo or button-up as a shacket alternative for a night out on the town. (I did size up to an XL for this and it fits perfectly).
