This Week in Golf Fashion: Golf Style Heros at the Hero

JT’s purples, Finau’s Utopia, a fresh look from Tiger, and Chef Woozy cooks down under. From the Bahamas to Australia, we check out the biggest fits of the week.

Seriously, Greyson needs to stop with all of these purples. My wallet is starting to take a hit. Best dressed of the week goes to JT who had me smashing the ‘Add to Cart’ button all weekend by showcasing a plethora of purples. Not to mention, those FootJoy x Todd Snyder kicks on Thursday were sick. Extra points for matching the House of Fleming belt to the shirt on Friday.

Cameron Young (Peter Millar & FootJoy)

Speaking of great FootJoy collabs, Cam Young laced up these FJ x Metalwood Studio Wilcoxes with a grey snake skin pattern on the saddle. As we approach the end of the year, now is the time to reflect on all of the goodness that 2023 gave us. This collab may have been the best of the bunch for FJ, although the FJ x Buscemi Fields still have a soft spot in my heart.

Tiger Woods (Nike & FootJoy)

Although the Big Cat was spotted in a pair of prototype Nikes early in the week, when the tournament started, he was back in the FootJoy Premiere Series that he has been favoring. What caught my eye, though, was the rest of his fit. The marine blues and tropical print made for a new and fresh look for T-Dub. I can’t remember him rockin’ this color combo before, but if I was styling him, I’d have it in the rotation for 2024.

Tiger wasn’t the only one making a long-awaited comeback. I was stoked to see Willy Z back on the course. His bright blues and pinks hit all the right notes alongside the crystal-clear waters of the Bahamas.

Tony Finau (Nike)

Tony Finau is one of the biggest sneakerheads on Tour, so it was no surprise to see him teeing it up in the hottest golf sneaker release of 2023–the Air Jordan 1 Low Golf x Travis Scott. Some might even say Finau is a FE!N when it comes to sneakers and this pair is the Utopia of limited edition golf shoes. In fact, many of us had a Meltdown when we weren’t able to cop a pair. I Know because I wanted a pair when My Eyes first saw them. Those lucky enough to grab a pair probably said, “Thank God,” while laughing like a Hyaena. I’m not sure where I’m going with this, so I’ll stop Til Further Notice.

Rickie Fowler (Puma Golf)

From Hawai’i to the Caribbean, nobody channels laid-back island vibes quite like Rickie. His tropical fits are like a smooth, aged rum.

Viktor Hovland (J.Lindeberg & Puma Golf)

J.Lindeberg just happened to drop its Pre-Spring Golf Collection the same week Viktor flew into the Bahamas. The collection takes inspiration from tropical nights and the adventures of island life journeys. It features bold palm frond prints in navy blue and light purple colorways. For a more understated look, Viktor’s Martin Polo provides a tease of the bold print in bloom-covered JL bridge logo across the shoulders.

Min Woo Lee (Amazing CRE & Nike)

From the Caribbean to the Land Down Under. Dare I say Min Woo Lee is the vibiest player since Anthony Kim stepped on the scene. This guy’s game and style are cookin’ right now. Nobody has rocked a golf rash guard this well since Camilo Villegas in the mid-aughts.

Joaquin Niemann (Adidas Golf)

I don’t watch much LIV golf, and Joaquin is one of the few players I miss watching as a result. I’ve always liked how he has taken fashion risks while respecting the traditions of the game. I would have opted for a darker belt here, but the earth-tone trousers really speak to me this time of the year. (Although, it is almost summer in Australia.)

  1. Will Zalatoris always is turned out in a professional kit but FJ needs to fix the Willy Z belt situation, the tab reaches almost to his right hip!
