Patrick Cantlay (Hugo Boss & FootJoy)
The ‘Patty Ice’ nickname got a lot of run over the weekend. In addition to calmly rolling in clutch putts, Cantlay gave off plenty of chill vibes in these icy blue pants. Cantlay has taken his style to new heights this year thanks to a subtle adjustment. Now, his pants are tailored to hit at the tops of his shoes for a cleaner look. In years past, they were an inch too long and would pool around his ankles.
Erik van Rooyen (Greyson Clothiers & ECCO)
By now you have plenty of navy, grey, and black pants in your closet. If you are looking to kick up your on-course fashion a notch this fall, leave those in your closet. Instead, break from mundane with a soft gem tone like this Meadowsweet purple from Greyson. It makes a strong statement and is easier to wear than you think. It pairs nicely with Windsor blue, steel blue, navy, and white.

I’m not here to relitigate the Great Jogger Debate of 2020. You’re either down or you’re not. One thing that can’t be debated is the fact the EVR wears joggers better than any player on Tour. Those cement grey ECCO BIOM H4s sync nicely with the polo and belt and the hit of yellow on the midsole brings in a complementary third color into the fit, too.
Sam Burns (Adidas Golf)
In last week’s TWIGF, we did a deep dive on belts. The big takeaway–a belt is an accessory and should complement your outfit. One guy that consistently has his belt game dialed in is Sam Burns.
Michael Phelps & Jordan Spieth (Under Armour)
28 Olympic Medals > 3 Major Championships. If I’m Jordan Spieth, I’m feeling a little short-changed on the apparel shipment and wondering why Phelps gets all the dope UA golf gear.
Xander Schauffele (Adidas Golf)
Trend alert! A print on a print breaks traditional style rules, but this is the era of (nearly) everything goes in the wild world of fashion. If you go this route, make sure you scale the two prints. Either big on small or bold on subtle.

Sergio Garcia (Adidas Golf)
No doubt that the golf fashion world has been late to the sustainability party, but Adidas is doing its part and has taken a leadership role in this area. To date, the brand has led the way with recycled fabrics and upcycled materials. A new initiative from the Three-Stripes brand is reducing or eliminating the dye used in materials. Sergio laced up these special edition ZG21 Motion kicks from adidas’ No-Dye Collection. The upper of the shoes are made entirely with the material’s natural colorway. By doing so, adidas is able to save an average of 60 percent on water and energy that usually goes into the process of dyeing materials.
Kevin Na (WAAC & FootJoy)
Wow, there is a lot going on here with a large block ‘W’ on the front and a repeating brand name on the sleeve. One of those design elements would have been too much, but both of them together? Yikes! I give this an ‘L’ rather than a ‘W.’ I’m amazed how Na can look like one of the best dressed dudes one day and then roll out in this the next day.
Rory McIlroy (Nike)

I really like all the different blue hues in pants and the colors paired with them. Rory is best dressed even as Nike doesn’t impress.
Rory even makes Nike gear look decent but Jordan seems to wear the worst UA gear. Mr Na is a mess but EVR rocks although I preferred the classic shoes.
I really wish we saw Rory in a wider brim.
