There were a lot of fashionable looks at the U.S. Open (see Best Dressed of the U.S. Open Day 1 & 2 and Best Dressed of the U.S. Open Day 3 & 4). Unfortunately, none of these looks fit into that category. Here are eight looks to avoid for your major championships this summer.
Hideki Matsuyama: Sunglasses look better when they cover your eyes. Just sayin’.
Hunter Mahan: Unless your name is Luke Donald, avoid the monochromatic navy blue look.
Keegan Bradley: I’ll be quite happy if I never have to see these shoes again.
Kevin Na: Here’s a good rule of thumb — never dress like a green bean.
Lee Westwood: Aren’t we done with neon yet?
Marcel Siem: ESPN reported that Bubba Watson gave Marcel Siem some fashion advice. The next day Siem showed up with this color combo. I blame Bubba. Bubba blamed his caddie.
Martin Kaymer: I have a bad feeling I’m going to see a lot of tennis ball necklaces at the driving range.
Matt Kuchar: Pleats! Kuch is either way behind or way in front of the fashion curve.
