Jamie Donaldson’s Masters Apparel Script from J.Lindeberg Golf — I’d Wear It

When it comes to apparel scripts, I’m frequently asked which player’s script I would be mostly likely to wear. Well, when it comes to the 2014 Masters, I keep coming back to Jamie Donaldson’s script from J.Lindeberg Golf.

There’s a lot to like here from Donaldson. While great style is a given when we talk about apparel from J.Lindeberg, the Welshman’s script includes three other must-haves for me.

For the Masters, an apparel script would just be incomplete if it doesn’t work in some green, and Donaldson will sport the Adam polo with green stripes on Thursday and the solid green Tech Tour TX Jersey polo on Saturday.

A great apparel script must have unique pieces every day, and Donaldson will feature four distinct looks at Augusta — trendy on Thursday, athletic on Friday, classic on Saturday and a mix of the three on Sunday. I know many brands are outfitting their players in different colorways of the same shirts every day, but come on. I’d be bored with that before I made the turn on Friday.

A great apparel script should also showcase a brand’s various designs and fabrics and Donaldson’s script displays the breadth of styles (stripes, solids and bold colorblocking) and fabrics (wools and technical fabrics) in J.Lindeberg’s Spring Collection.
