He didn’t lift the trophy, but Viktor did take home best-dressed honors. Saturday’s Anton Polo—with its zip placket, blade collar, and that retro JL bridge logo draped across the back—channeled serious late-2000s swagger. The electric blue color? Straight fire for summer. On Sunday, he doubled down with a bold blue-on-blue look that could’ve gone sideways, but Young HOV made it look automatic. The jacquard Kalle Polo paired seamlessly with the tailored trousers. Clean, connected, and confident.

Sunday’s look > Saturday’s, no contest. Day dipped into his classic side for Oakmont with a fit that had vintage Arnold Palmer energy in all the right ways: chest pocket polo, clean-cut pants, and a throwback visor to top it off. That kelly green colorway of the Jovis Solid Polo was bright, fresh, and exactly the kind of vibe you’d expect from Day.

The king of timeless minimalism strikes again–white polo, dark pants, blade collar, and those billowy sleeves. I have to admit, when I saw him roll out in this fit, I got some 2013 Masters vibes.

Rory McIlroy (Nike)

This one’s going straight to the season highlight reel. Rory’s steel blue trousers perfectly echoed the swoosh on his kicks—a subtle but strong nod to Pittsburgh’s steel-town heritage. And let’s talk belts. Nobody in the game rocks a multi-colored belt better than Rory. The key move? Keeping the rest of the outfit clean and solid to let the belt pop. Masterclass.

Brown belt and brown saddle shoes. Inject that into my veins. Harris English channeled old-school golf style with the kind of quiet confidence that doesn’t need a logo overload or bold patterns to make a statement. More of this, please.

J.J. Spaun (Puma Golf)

Plot twist of the week: Spaun rebooted his entire round during the rain delay—and that included his fit. Swapping from Puma’s MATTR Elevated Solid to the all-over print MATTR Burgh Polo was the perfect momentum shift. The polo’s bridges and hypocycloids were a tribute to Pittsburgh. The three diamonds—borrowed from the Steelmark logo—originally stood for lightness, modernity, and style. I’d argue J.J. ticked all three.

Speaking of changing shirts or not changing shirts in Xander’s case, ran back his Thursday and Friday polos on the weekend. This isn’t your muni club championship. You’re at a major. Pack accordingly.

We just hyped you for the Arnie throwback, but we gotta call out the white belt moment. In a monochromatic fit, it breaks the flow. Next time, keep it tonal or skip the belt altogether.
