GolfThreads’ RLX Golf Holiday Gift Guide

This year we are doing something different for our holiday gift guide. Instead of sharing our actual wish lists, we are picking a few of our favorites from some of our favorite brands. (Side note: we don’t receive any financial compensation from the brands in our Holiday Gift Guide Series, and all of the products are selected by us.)

First up is RLX Golf and pieces from its Fall/Winter 2024 Collection. What you’ll find here is a cashmere hoodie that is a favorite of the U.S. Ryder Cup Team and the GolfThreads Crew alike, elevated takes of retro designs, wintery golf-inspired Fair Isles patterns, and high-tech modern layers.

Happy Holidays and happy gifting!

RLX Golf Cashmere Hooded Sweater

If you told me I would only find one RLX Golf item under the tree, I would want it to be the Cashmere Hooded Sweater. There are plenty of reasons why a variation of this sweater is a favorite of the U.S. Ryder Cup year after year. It is warm, soft, and stylish. Sophisticated enough for sipping a smooth bourbon by a roaring fire while sitting in a leather armchair, this hoodie is also sporty enough for a warm winter’s day on the course.

RLX Golf Hybrid Mockneck Jacket & Vest

In just a few short years, insulated hybrid jackets have cold weather golf essentials. During this time, one has reached iconic status–RLX Golf’s Hybrid Jacket. Sure, there have been different iterations over the years, but this is the hybrid jacket for the fairways. The quilted ripstop front panel packs in the heat with a lightweight insulation while the stretchy French terry wool sleeves and back combine warmth and playability. Opt for Fatigue Green or Navy Blue or combine the two with the Clubhouse Plaid pattern. You can also ditch the sleeves and go with a vest.

RLX Golf Classic Fit Fair-Isle Inspired Pullover

Nothing says winter quite like a Fair Isle pattern. Add a cozy soft fleece to the mix and you have the perfect pullover for the coldest winter days. Even though the Fair Isle pattern prominently features golf flags, this layering piece can also easily find a home on the slopes or in the lodge.

RLX Color-Blocked Stretch Jersey Pullover

2023 will go down as the year that the ‘90s retro trend took over my Instagram feed and the fairways. This anorak-style pullover with colorblocked sleeves, a contrasting front zipper, and dark, rich colors is one the things making me excited about the ‘90s comeback.

RLX Golf Quilted Double-Knit Pullover

From updated throwbacks to modern trend. Quilted layers are all the rage this year. The double-knit fabric adds a bit of heft for the winter while the contrasting chest pocket offers a sporty twist.

RLX Custom Slim Fit Stretch Mesh Polo

Speaking of trends, the Johnny collar polo was not one I saw coming, but can’t get enough of. I can only hope this a a trend that gains speed in 2024. Named after actor Johnny Mathis, it brings an air of sophistication and country-club style to the typical golf polo. This is your chance to get in early on this trend.
