Crushing on Kelly
First of all, I have no business writing about women’s fashion, but HOLY COW did Kelly Rohrbach ever steal the show for me! I may have a new celebrity crush. Actually, not “may,” I DO have a new celebrity crush. I even laminated my updated list ala Ross in the episode of Friends when he finalized his celebrity “freebie list.” Wasn’t Rohrbach recently rumored to be dating Aaron Rodgers?
Gridiron Greats
These two future NFL Hall of Famers looked like they could be taking a stroll down the runway. I wish Aaron Rodgers had taken some fashion advice from fellow Adidas pal, Dustin Johnson and gone with a true monochromatic look. A nice black or gray belt (to complement the stripes in his polo) would’ve been a much better play call at the line of scrimmage. Larry Fitzgerald won the Super Bowl of fashion between these two with a gutsy Hail Mary (joggers) on Sunday.
Shotgun Style
Sticking with football for a minute. I love this picture of new Redskins QB, Alex Smith, and Kevin Na. It reminds me of the contrasting quarterbacking approach of incumbent QB Kirk Cousins and Alex Smith. Aggressive and conservative.
Pleats and Carg-Nos
If Larry the Cable Guy was paired with Brian Harman (and his beloved camo belt) and Darius Rucker partnered up with K.J. Choi, they could have com-pleated, umm, I mean competed, as the worst dressed foursome.
Dapper Duhamel
Josh Duhamel sure looked “Hollywood” to me. Dressed in the trendiest golf brands (G/FORE, Linksoul, and Puma) he had a terrifically casual appearance (the old I-won’t-try-too-hard-but-I-know-the-right-brands-to-wear look) that I thought was fitting for his image. He even wore a pair of black Puma high-tops and looked good. That is a tough look to pull off! I wasn’t too sure about his belt on Friday, though. Did he tuck his shirt into the belt on purpose? Regardless, it still looked better than Gary Woodland’s white belt.
Chris-O in Johnnie-O
Love that Chris O’Donnell is able to rep his brother’s clothing brand at Pebble Beach. Johnnie-O is one of my favorite logos. In high school, I loved the movie, Point Break. The Johnnie-O logo makes me think of a more gentrified Johnny Utah and Bodhi. I also really like what they are doing with their golf line. Stay tuned for a Johnnie-O review soon….
Ring the Bell-Bottoms
We saw plenty of William Murray Golf apparel on the course at Pebble Beach. Loyal Puma guy, Jake Owen and Under Armour ambassador, Justin Verlander switched up their wardrobes for the tournament. Both chose to go a bit more conservative than the company’s namesake. Not sure what to say about Bill Murray. I will just let the pictures speak for themselves….You be you, Bill.
