Linksoul’s latest collection was inspired by the Northwood Golf Club in Monte Rio, CA, and designed to keep us golf nuts playing (and looking good) even as the temperature drops. The Northwood Collection maintains the inimitable Linksoul style that transcends the course. The gang at Linksoul managed to create layers with the look and feel of a luxury item but with an unmistakable casual vibe. Here are a few of the standouts.

Bandon Quarter Snap Layer
Don’t even bother to put this on your list for Santa. Just buy it. Like, right now! The Bandon Quarter Snap Layer is ridiculously warm and soft. Not to mention versatile enough to dress up over a button-down for your holiday get-together or throw it over a t-shirt for that early morning stroll. Either way, you will look fab and feel fantastic (this thing is soft, yo).
The sizing of this is a little trickier; my usual Large fits perfectly when worn over a t-shirt, however, if I were layering over a dress shirt, I may prefer going up a size. I’d probably suggest going up one size to be safe. Wear this with the Heritage Twill Chino in Mushroom for a fit that will have you ready for anything.
Anchorage Seawool Shacket
If “seashell, seashell by the seashore” gets you all tongue all tied, consider; “seawool, seawool from the oyster farm.” It loses some alliteration, but it is the way to go. The Anchorage Seawool Shacket is made of yarn spun from recycled plastic bottles and upcycled oyster shells. I’m a sucker for a shacket and the Shell Heather colorway of the Anchorage is special.
Fits true to size. Layer it over a t-shirt and wear it with any of the three colors of the MacKenzie Stretch Cord 5-Pocket Pants for a smart and environmentally responsible look.
Briggs French Rib Polo
This Briggs French Rib Polo is the ultimate transition piece in your closet. Wear it on the course under the Eaton Packable PrimaLoft Hooded Vest for additional warmth, with your favorite dungarees when you are just hanging out, or dress it up with a fresh pair of trousers for a fancier date night. Win. Win. Win.
Although Linksoul describes this as a “tailored fit” my usual size was spot on.
