If these pink shorts look familiar it is because Justin Thomas wore a longer version of them during his historic 9-under par round at the U.S. Open. Your scorecard will probably add up to a different number, but at least you can channel some of JT’s swagger.
J.Lindeberg Somle Shorts
J.Lindeberg’s Somle Shorts are some of my favorite technical shorts to wear on the course. They are lightweight, breathable, and water repellent. The slim fit provides a tailored look to keep you on point and the bright hues are a great way to add a splash of color to your game.

J.Lindeberg makes some of the most comfortable pullovers in the game. I have one from a few years ago that is still my go-to. It’s rare to see them on sale, so now is the time to stock up. I know it’s the middle of the summer and pullovers aren’t a top priority, but you’ll thank me when Fall comes around. I just ordered one of these Putte Pullovers, too.

I live in Linksoul Boardwalker Shorts during the summer. In fact, I’m wearing a pair right now. No joke! The Boardwalkers can go anywhere and do anything. Dress them up or dress them down. Wear them on the course or the street. You can even wear them in the pool or ocean. These are the ultimate shorts for summer.
Linksoul 4-Way Stretch Cotton Blend Windbreaker
I bought this hooded Linksoul Windbreaker a few months ago and it quickly became my favorite jacket. It’s light and comfortable and perfect for a cool summer night in the mountains or at the beach. And, yes, hoodies are appropriate for the course these days.
TravisMathew Turks Polo
If you put a pattern of tiki cocktails on a shirt, then consider me all in. The Turks Polo from TravisMathew screams tropical vacation, sand between the toes, and refreshing rum drinks. Best of all, the tone-on-tone print provides a refined alternative to those obnoxious Hawaiian shirts in your closet, which means less embarrassment for your wife and kids.
TravisMathew Runkle Polo
Shirts with printed patch pockets are one of the hottest fashion trends this summer and you won’t find one better suited for the season than TravisMathew’s Runkle Polo. Believe the hype. Dunning’s Players Fit Shorts are often called the best in the game. That’s not a marketing slogan, either. The fit of these shorts is sure to appeal to a wide range of players. Dunning made the best even better this season by adding muted pastels to its range of classic colors.
Lacoste UltraDry Bold Stripe Polo
Daniel Berger has been crushing it on the PGA Tour this season in Lacoste and this has been one of his favorite shirts. In fact, he wore it during his playoff loss to Jordan Spieth at the Travelers Championship and it looks as good on the course as it does in the backyard for a fierce game of corn hole.
Just ordered a new pair of Linksoul Boardwalker shorts in Brick. By far my favorite summer shorts. I bet they would pair well with the TM Turks polo! Hmm….
The Brick is the best color. Hopefully you didn’t get the last pair of size 32. 🙂
