After a controversial first installment of Fashion Dimes & Crimes from the PGA Championship, GolfThreads is back for more. Who was on point in the second round? Who had the fashion yips? Here’s a recap of the best and worst from Friday at Whistling Straits.
Fashion Dimes

I’m totally diggin’ this black, red and white kit from Rickie. It is weird to say, but it is a really fresh look for him. It is bold, colorful and athletic, but it is not over the top.
Scott Piercy (J.Lindeberg Golf)
These two-tone blue looks continue to be a strong trend heading into Fall, and Scott Piercy nailed it with this number. The tailoring is on point and navy blue belt creates an easy transition for top to bottom. The white hat and shoes nicely frame the rest of the outfit.
Graeme McDowell (G-Mac by Kartel)
I wasn’t sure about this shirt when I saw it on social media the other day, but the blue-on-blue camo looks really cool against the backdrop of Lake Michigan. McDowell accessorized this look perfectly, which helped to make it a success.
Tiger Woods (Nike Golf)
Wait, what?! Trust me, I’m as shocked as you that Tiger is on the Dimes list, but I have to give credit where credit is due. This is what I’ve been looking for from Tiger for years — simple, classic and clean looks with a modern, techy twist.
Sang-Moon Bae (Callaway)
I’m seeing more and more of these polos that have an iridescent sheen to them and they are really interesting. Well played, SMB.
Brooks Koepka (FootJoy)
When this guy forgets to pack a white belt, he is one of the best dressed players on the Tour. His shirts and pants are well tailored, and he never shies away from color.
David Lingmerth (J.Lindeberg Golf)
The J.Lindeberg guys are killing it this week with clean, modern and athletic looks. Lingmerth was on point in this red and blue kit. Like Piercy, the tonal belt created a seamless look.
Billy Horschel (RLX Ralph Lauren)
Another bold look from BillyHo that fueled an aggressive move up the leaderboard. This guy rarely has an off day in the sartorial department.
Jason Day (Adidas Golf)
The sleeves may be a bit too tight, but this is a classic and athletic set-up from J-Day.
Dustin Johnson (Adidas Golf)
It was great to see something other than grey and white from DJ, and that tonal belt was one of the best decisions he made all day.

Quick! Get Martin Kaymer a tourniquet! Oh, wait. Nevermind, it is just his shirt. Friday the 13th on the fairway.
Zach Johnson
Zach was supposed to wear a dark colored belt, but he flipped the script by going with the white belt instead. He shouldn’t have vetoed the designer on this one.
Jordan Spieth
Under Armour has some cool belts. It would have been good to see one of those instead of this white one that broke up this otherwise strong kit.
Victor Dubuisson
Your shoes don’t have to match your belt, but the white belt with black shoes feels unbalanced to me.
